Since Scott Rice started measuring service performance using customer surveys (over 5 years ago) customer feedback indicates that Scott Rice service performance has steadily improved. "Even though service performance has exceeded our customer's expectation we still strive for improvement," said Bill Lee, owner. There is a lot of team work and coordination that goes into an office furniture project. Here are the Scott Rice employees that team up to create great office environments and smooth installations.
Sales: Fred Wuthrich: Fred has been associated with Scott Rice since 1977 during which time he has functioned as a consistently high sales performer.
He is responsible for establishing many new accounts and maintaining several large accounts while at Scott Rice.
Fred is very knowledgeable, well spoken and has a keen eye for detail. Customers enjoy working with him because of his knowledge and helpfulness.
He has earned top sales awards at Scott Rice nearly every year since joining the company. He was sales person of the year in 2000, 2004, 2006 and 2008. Lauren Thiessen: Lauren is a consistent performing account manager who has been taking care of Scott Rice customers since 1989. He has accumulated a vast knowledge of office furniture and panel systems and is an expert at helping customers make the most of their space and improving worker productivity. Lauren is also trained to help customers with their ergonomic needs.
Scott Lee: Scott became a Major Account Manager in August 2006 and became the VP of New Business Development in April 2010. Josh Wuthrich: Josh is a WSU graduate. He joined Scott Rice in Oct 2006 as showroom manager. He was promoted to account manager in June 2008.
Design: Leslie Ohlman: Leslie joined Scott Rice in January 2007 as a staff designer. She is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Interior Design.
Katie McLaren: Katie started work at Scott Rice in May of 2007. She is a 2006 Kansas University graduate with a degree in interior design. She most recently worked for Black and Veatch in Kansas City and moved to Wichita where her husband, Scott, will be doing his medical internship at Kansas University Med School.
Project Management: Pam Stillwell: Pam came to Scott Rice in October of 1991 as a receptionist and a year later became a project coordinator.
Installation: Craig Boucher: Craig Boucher joined Scott Rice in December 2010 as Installation Mgr. His extensive 20-year background installing and coordinating office furniture in the Topeka area and his likeable personality will ensure your satisfaction on projects. Craig is a Kansas native and grew up in Concordia.
Craig enjoys fishing, hunting, bowling, pool, football and baseball. Craig describes himself as "inventive". That is definitely one skill he will definitely utilize at his new job! Gwen Voth: Gwen is in charge of the warehouse receiving and service department. She has been with the company since 1994.General Management: Bill Lee: Bill is the majority owner of Scott Rice. He joined Scott Rice as general manager in September of 2000. He acquired the company in December 2003 and continues as CEO.
